The sample invoice builder stays in your browser
The homepage sample and the sample invoice builder use fictional details. Your changes are processed on your device, are not uploaded or saved, and disappear when you leave the page.
Accounts and hosted records
Account features process your name, email, password hash, verification status and security sessions. Pro stores the business, customer, design and invoice data you choose to save, plus private logos and issued PDFs.
Account processing supports the service contract and account security. You are responsible for having an appropriate basis to include customer information. The operator must confirm its role and any required business data-processing terms before public launch.
Payments and providers
Stripe hosts checkout and processes payment details. We retain payment references, purchase status and entitlement records, not your full card details. The production hosting, email and backup providers and any international transfers must be identified before launch; they are not configured in this preview.
Cookies, logs and measurement
The sample and trial invoice builder do not use a login cookie. Account pages use necessary session/security cookies. Invoice content is not sent to analytics. This preview installs no advertising scripts or third-party tracking. Optional first-party aggregate counters, disabled by default, count page and trial opens, sample use, Pro interest, checkouts and purchases without invoice fields, cookies, account IDs or per-user profiles. These counts describe events, not unique people. Operational logs can contain technical request/error information; the server operator must limit access and retention and avoid logging invoice bodies, credentials or payment instructions.
Retention, export and requests
Hosted records are retained while your account and archive are operated; issued records are not silently rewritten or erased when a source customer changes. Revocation provides 30 days of export-only recovery. Ask support about access, correction, deletion or an export. Issued-record retention may need to account for legal obligations; no immediate unconditional deletion promise is made.
Production backup retention is planned at 7 daily, 4 weekly and 6 monthly snapshots, with encrypted off-server storage. It is not operational or restore-verified yet. Final retention periods, provider details and deletion handling need operator review. You may raise a data-protection concern with the Information Commissioner's Office.
